Rae Lynn Gates

Program Coordinator 

Rae Lynn Gates was born and raised right here in Calgary. She has one beautiful daughter, Lauren, two dogs and three cats. Rae Lynn loves people and has spent most of her career working with them. Prior to working with the Parkdale Nifty Fifties she spent the past 15 years working with the vulnerable street population in Shelters, Transitional housing and Supportive housing. Rae Lynn also works part time as a caregiver to an 8-year-old boy with Autism and his twin brother.

When Rae Lynn is not working she can be found spending time with her animals. Her two beautiful dogs are: Archie who is an overly loving Golden Retriever Lab cross and Lola, an Olde English Bulldog. Rae Lynn’s 3 cats are all of the orange variety. Their names are Kevin Patrick Gates, Portia and Harley. Rae Lynn enjoys baking (as some of you might know) and loves to take day trips to the mountains.

Some facts about Rae Lynn: She is left handed. She collects Russian Stacking Dolls and has 15 sets. She has flown in a hot air balloon as her parents owned a hot air balloon company. She won $1000 on a radio contest and she has worked in the casino as a blackjack dealer.
