Bag Half Full Free Grocery Delivery ServiceBag half Full is a grocery delivery service started by Uof A medical students that has expanded into several other cities and will carry on after the pandemic. They cater to individuals/families who are sick, self-isolating and/or immunocompromised, as well as individuals who are elderly or have disabilities that limit their access to grocery services.
Services: 1. Pick-up and delivery of online grocery orders 2. Grocery shopping and delivery 3. Prescription pick-up and delivery There is no delivery or service fee, individuals can pay for their groceries online in advance OR they can use e-transfer, cash or cheque to pay the amount on the final receipt to the volunteer that paid for and picked up the order themselves. Is introducing a “Golden Shopping Hour” for seniors. It is on a store by store basis so you will need to call the store nearest you to see if they are offering it.
